As you know the Owen Sound Fall Fair is hosted by the Owen Sound Agricultural Society annually. This year marks our 170th Fair. We believe that this is a community tradition and an event that brings our country roots into the City of Owen Sound. It gives the local community, rural and townspeople alike, a chance to come together to celebrate agriculture with their family and friends. And we are so excited to once again present the fair this year.

Traditionally we have been able to put together an event that showcases the many aspects of agriculture and entertainment that delight the crowds of people who attend year after year. This includes everything from our different livestock shows, agriculture education area, entertainment tent, track events such as the truck and tractor pulls and much more.

 

The Fair is completely planned, set up and put on by a small group of volunteers. Every year we work tirelessly all year long to produce the weekend event that we all know and love. Although this year is looking slightly different after the pandemic and a few circumstances beyond our control, we are here and doing our best to put together an enjoyable event for all.

We continue on every year thanks to our fundraising efforts and generous donations from both our community partners and friends of the fair. Without this support we would not have been able to make it to our 170th Anniversary.
